Christmas is my second favorite holiday and I like to have a Christmas special with This Complete Breakfast every year and I also try to come up with new holiday tunes whenever the chance presents itself. I also have an album of the older Christmas songs: Holiday Hits Volume 1, some of those tracks are repeated below because that ‘album’ format isn’t very useful.
Two years running they have given me Sweater themes for the 2HTS before Christmas. First it was ‘turtleneck sweater’ and then it was ‘ugly sweater’.
I wrote Egg Nog and Family for a 2HTS and then used it for the ending credits to the first TCB Christmas Special. For the 3rd special I asked Special K to create a cover in his country style.
The date on this particular recording of “All I Want for XXXmas” is showing December of 2012, I think it’s older than that and this is the date I made an MP3 out of the original WAV file. Either way it has some fans (or rather Special K’s country renditions have fans) so I’ve got the original recording and an instrumental rendition (for your karaoke needs) as well as a recording Special K did of his arrangement of the song.
Here are the Christmas specials that This Complete Breakfast have made. I’m not the greatest director. Or editor. Or writer. Or cinematographer. But it’s the thought that counts, I guess.
